yes it is true I built that mag from the ground up completely from scratch, made every single piece from the S/S body to the Valve which had an air chamber 3 times the size of the stock one. Had to do something in the spare time on Night shift at Colgate back in the days I was there. I wish I could find some pictures of it it looked sweet Blood Red anodise on the combined grip frame/gas through Vertical front hold.
Speed may have risen over the years but all the mags I used to tune and do the on/off mod to back in the day would all get pulled up for having double acting triggers
