Well according to the calender we should have our regular Spec Ops day 22nd Oct and then the Huge Red Dawn Day 29th Oct ..
The Spec Ops day will give us the chance to finalise our gear, get it all set and be battle ready for the big day.
Gentlemen - get ready to rumble ..

Ok, for some reason I was under the impression that the Spec ops day was going to be the day before Red Dawn. That sucks balls if it's the week before - I'm working and it's too late to get time off. As a way of lashing out at the world, I will be going 2 guns (a5 and my spanking new Ion) for most of Red Dawn, you decadent capitalist swine :fu: .
Albatross...try and get down to a field if you haven't already and muck around with ya ion, just get it already. You don't want to be stuffing around on red dawn with the ion and missing out on getting shot :D

I know Gav mentioned doing a Spec Op day on the Sat for the travellers if they wanted - dont know what happened with that. These days are just what is on the calender - so i guess we wait till the big fella lets us know..

The plan was for the 22nd to be dropped in favour of the big game on the 29th. As well there was going to be walk on bush ball games on the 28th for guys to get ready and for the traveling guys to have a look around. So Will don't panic.
Now if guys still want to come out and have a small day on the 22nd that is no problem. But bear in mind Sunday the 15th is the 4Play and that the Red dawn game is the 29th so for some that's going to be alot of paintball, in October.
But once again if there are guys keen to do it then it can be done on the 22nd, you just have to let me know.

Yep Camo, I already have the fear with getting my ion up to speed and running smoothly. There is about 30,000+ words of tech stuff i have to assimilate before I will feel remotely comfortable shooting my ion. Dwell, recharge, solenoids, QEV - it makes a plug-n-play guy like me want to cave my head in with a rock. Hopefully I will sort it out, though I reckon I will still be one of the guys subject to inconvenient Ion failures (that one's for Sniperwolf).
And obviously my vote is for a bushball weekend on 28-29 Oct - it will be good to get a last minute run of the field before the big day, as well as have a shoot at some of the guys who've had to travel. Come on Big Gav, you know it's what the fans want. :thumbsup: :cry: :no: :yes: :clap: :rant:

Don't worry mate...its not that bad..jump on to the ion owners site, i think there videos on how to do things as well as a heap of guide
I got mine back together pretty easy, It shouldn't a big problem, its just good to get in and get a feel for it before a big day like red dawn

That's good to hear. And since my woman just came to her senses and dumped me, there is very little danger of me getting enough paintball this month. And so I begin anew the quest to find a woman who has enough issues that they are willing to settle for me. Bring on Red Dawn!

OD on paintball ??? Is that possible ?? Im on for all 3 if needed. Lets see - Ref the 4play on the 15th, sort out gear and stuff around to get set on the 22nd, spec ops day on the 28th, and lead the russians to victory on the 29th.. :thumbsup: yep i'm good :yes:

No if's but's or maybe's boys the 28th is on for certian to give guys a chance to get their gear ready check out the fields work out some plans and have a bit of fun. Might even take the wombat for a test flight:thumbsup: It will be a casual day if we have enough bodies we can even do some ASPPL games

I'm trying to save as much money as possible so that I can get my crap together before Red Dawn, so I will probably be waiting for the 29th to get it all sorted.
But...
I may come out on the 28th. Can one overdose on shooting at other people??
