Okay, a problem with my electro cocker... how do you stop mechanical bouncing ? >>setup: 03 Sonic cocker with Raceframe

I have the trigger filtering on. There is no filter settings - it is on or off.

I have lengthened the sear/screw length.
I have increased the trigger overtravel.
I have increased the trigger take up.

There is a normal micro switch, and a large mass trigger.
(It is a micro switch,,, not the latest optical setup.)

How do can you stop a microswitch/trigger from bouncing as the backblock moves?

If i lock the frame into a vice and try to replicate it.. it does not bounce.

Adjust your back block so when the bolt is closed there is a tiny gap im between the body and the back block. Also check that your lpr is not to high.

I had this problem with but figured out that it was the back block hitting up against the body of the gun causing it.

If that doesnt fix it it could be that your micro switch is screwed.

If their is a gap that means the ram will be stopping the back block.
Wont this damage the ram or shorten its life?

There is a gap, I will increase the gap abit more. Kris rekons it could be slapping slightly. The switch is ON or OFF, goes click, what else can it do ?

Check your lpr is not to high as well. It is possible that the micro switch could be damaged.

l adjusted the Sonic lpr so it it was "just" past full cocking then gave it a 1/2 turn extra.

Hope its not the switch :(

no you should have a papers width gap as this will make sure your ram is cycling fully. If you have it to far in your ram will be trying to pull the back block past the body which in turn could and normally does loosen the threads inside the back block. On some occasions with the aluminium pump rods the threads can snap inside your back block, yes this has happened to some Karnis.
