There was a lot of good play over the weekend and some doggy stuff as well.
Overall a hard weekend
Shock missed out on the finals by ONE point, if they got in we would have had two Auzzie teams in the finals.

And Australia won the best of three Aust V NZ
Australia took it out in two straight games..

Congrats go to swat the played hard all weekend and only just managed to beat an ex swat a team member for the title
I would like to thank all the teams that traveled and attended
The pit people that help us were great Darren,Liz and Amy i was gonna say pod bitches but i would get beaten up by Liz
We were a bit dissappointed about not getting into the finals but 5th will have to do and wasnt to bad as we had dougie playing for us that has 3months paintball experience and was his first tournie

Each team had its own pit room, yes room. These were huge, out of the weather, with toilets, showers etc, plus tables and heaps of seating. Every team had tonnes of room to work with, and it was only from 15 to 50 metres (all undercover) to walk straight onto the fields.

Viewing from the enclosed grandstands was spectacular! :bow:

The Refs get in really fast and make very quick calls. :respekt: Top marks guys.

Just need to piss off those Millenium rules :thumbsdow that allow playing on while hit and the whole thing will be perfect. For example, knowing that you are hit, calling a paintcheck, but at the same time you keep shooting your gun, you know cheating! :thumbsdow
Go the NPPL rules, they severly punish this sort of thing and in the process make the games much better for players and spectators alike. :thumbsup:

New Zealand has some awesome teams and players alike. They are extremely friendly, I would definately reccomend going over to NZ for any tournament you can.

You guys play awesome ball over there .. had such a great time. the people we met over there were Big P, skinny ... and the big (old) guy from raiderz, chris from the fallen (thanks for getting off the field so quickly 36sec) were cool and hope to see you in Oz one day ... skinny you will always have a guest spot on Shock if you ever come over and thanks for lending me your misses ... was the best 30sec of my life ;)

The raiderz play AWESOME paintball and are fast and small (and 12y/o) keep a eye out for them doing big things where ever they play.
