paintball field licences

just a quick question, mainly to the guys on here who own paintball fields, what licences would one need to operate a paintball field? and ruffly whats the price for purchase of fields? (on average)

I believe this cannot be answered here as the question involves so many variables and each state has different laws concerning paintball.
