Not sure if this is in the right section tho here goes.

After buying my gear and the fill nipple cover being removed from the tank and not sent with the bottle i was left with the easy fix of getting a new cover.

Being VERY thrifty i have gone without for awhile as i get around to ordering the $6.50 cover.

I have been thinking of what i can use in the meantime. i thought of a tyre valve stem cover.

THEN

while cleaning my garage i finally came accross a few and gave them a go. Fits like a dream and are cheap as chips lol. so if anyone needs a valve cover for short or long term give them a go. tyre shops have old ones laying around they would hand out for free!!!!!

I use the rubber brake nipple cover off brake calipers. Does the same thing but more flexable. Doesn't fall off easily.

Yeah they would work well also, comes down to availability. i dont see many rubber brake nipple covers.

i havent played with the valve cover yet so how well it stays on during play will be found out this Sundy. going on that when i clicked it all the way down i had to use scissors to get under it to pull it off id say i wont have an issue.

its good to find a cheap and easy solution
