Newbie to Samford

Hey guys,

I’m looking to start playing at Samford, I’ve played there a few times but I want to get my own gun and gear and start coming to club days. I’m just looking for a bit of info about Samford like how much it cost to play at the club day and how much paint costs (I’m mainly interested in bushball). I know some of these questions might seem a bit dump but hey you gotta start somewhere. What happens with gas on the day, do you have to bring multiple tanks and they fill them or do you use the field ones? Any other info on Samford would be great.

I’m also looking at buying an A5 as this seems like a good/cheap beginner gun. If anyone has any suggestions I’m listening.

I’m really keen to become a regular as I’ve played a couple times and I love it! Any other stuff that you guys think might be handy would be great.

I certainly do play up at Samford and run the Spec Op days ,we welcome all new players to the club and hope you can make this weekend as it will be the Tac Air day,

Come out on Sunday. Arrive early and learn from the others. I'll be there by 8am at the latest to help set up.

You can test shoot my markers. Bottles are refilled on site.

Paint is under $100 / 2000 balls, this Sunday you'll probably use about half of that. Save leftovers for next time.

$50 should cover complete rental and field fee for this Sunday.

I’m filling out my membership form now. I’ll probably come out on the 6th of sep to the bushball day. I don’t have any gear but once I get my membership I’m gonna start the whole fun process of getting my license, marker and gear. So trying some different markers would be great. I can’t wait to get my own marker/gear, gotta scrounge up some money first (don’t know anyone who wants a longbow?)

Don't think i can make in on the 13th which sucks. Does samford have CO2, HPA or both?

I think samford only run HPA now but someone will be on later to confirm it for you.

Only HPA now. If first time players only have CO2, they can maybe borrow a HPA tank for the day. Might want to check with schrammy if you need a loaner.

Wont's be able to make it tomorrow. Planing on coming on the 13th to bushball. Spent a big chunk of today bolting my safe down and I'm signed up for a gun safety course so it'll all happening. Thanks for all the help guys! I can't wait to start playing regularly, such a great sport.
