Hey guys,
The rumour mill is working overtime about the location and dates of SAPPA Round 1. Would be great to know if the dates have/haven't changed so can confirm accom. for interstaters. Also the venue, so can try to get accom. as close to the fields as possible!
Anyone know if there has/hasn't been a change :confused: :help: :confused:
I'm sure this will be another kick ass tourney :respekt: , can't play this one :cry: but will still be great to watch! :cool:

From what I've been told the venue is now at Skirmish S.A in Strathalbyn. Nothing has been said about a change of date, well, not that I've heard....I hope it hasn't changed !

ill just put up a sign with 'you must be at least 3 foot tall to enter this area' in front of my teams pit and that will keep you out:P

Definatly no Date change. Still on same weekend.
However, due to situation out of the SAPPA's control, the venue has changed to Strathalbyn as Wayno stated.
Dont listen to the rumors, simply ask one of the SAPPA commitee members to get the correct answer.

last bits and pieces are being sorted now, field will not be open Fri, HPA still definately available, lunch will be provided on both days. Chances are slim on second sup air field

Cool... I figured it would be hard to set up 2 feilds at Strath but if theres still a chance...sweet... :D
I guess there is always the tyre field. But unless there is over 20 teams I cant see them needing it. But what would I know, i am just a mouse

which air field would it be if there was just one? The WDP, RPS, Rooboys, or Scotties?
what WDP field? At this stage the RPS field is still coming down as again generous support to SAPPA from RPS and Paintball Australia

I reckon the RPS field sounds the go...haven't played on that one before. And Big Gav will be distraught if we don't send it back all gooey with paint ! Plus I want to head bang Mushroomboy while he's hiding behind the big temple !

the penalties for overshooting lay purely in the context of the situation it is perfectly viable that a referee may give a 1 for 1 penalty for even 2 hits if he/she believes that they sufficiently spaced in time of impact to display malicious intent. The penalty is also relative to division ie Div 1 team bonus ballin a new Div 2 team :hammer:

Deadly Sins has folded ... looks like im the only one left hanging... couple players have taken time off other two jumped to another team and well im wondering if anyone out there is up for letting me play with them at this sappa round ... if its not already late ... got my own gear and all and have been playing for a while now ... so yeah ... any offers ?

I think if you read it again Deadeye (well this is how I see it), that if you shoot someone, and that player is obviously eliminated, and then you knowing fully well that that is the case, then proceed to put one or more shots into said player, in a time delayed action (ie pop............poppop...), then that is cause for a penalty to be assessed. That is what I (IMO) would call malicious, with intent to harm, and not very sportsmanlike either, which ofcourse can be subjective too, according to ones own sporting ethics.

I'd keep it all inflated, put around some cut outs of deadeye behind the barricades and have some fun :D
