Just a quick tip for you i3 owners out there.
Sumtimes you just get gogged so bad you really need to take out those lenses to give em a good wash and de-shell. Its a bastard task at the best of times and many a finger nail has been bent back, ripped off, or broken doing them.
Getting them apart; fully wet them and have them dripping when you try and pull the rubber away from the lenses. The water will stop the rubber from gripping on the lense tabs that fit in the frame.
Putting them together; now you dont really want to wet your clean lenses so you dont get streaks or spots on the inside, fog free layer. You also dont want to rub this inside layer too much either as its a softer plastic. Get yourself some water based personal lube, as in KY jelly, ect.. and apply the smallest amount to the small plastic tabs before you slide them back in the rubber frame. Make sure you dont touch the inside of the leses when your putting them back together. The lube is water based so any finger prints should wipe off easily when you finish.
I have no more hassles and it works like a charm every time.
Peace with a paintball gun!
