Hows it going all. just found the Bills forum. what a great resource for Aussie paintball. good to see.
Ive been playing very on and off since 1994 living over in the states, in Phoenix and in Cali, moved back to Aust for good now and have a young family (2 girls) :bigparty:. anyways ive got much more spare time and resources on my hands now and tho my eyesight and reflexes dont seem as sharp as they once were, im keener than ever to hook back in to the sport.
Im looking to start a Woodsball, err (bushball) :) field in either Mansfield or Kilmore because Moama seems to be a long hike for a day trip.
Aussie paintball is (IMO) poised to move into a bigger circle of acceptance within our society,,, and with some of the new crazy electronic marker and paint feed technology out now, its just a whole new level of speed and excitement and fun, at least compared to my Tippo sl68II and the pumps of old. it seems with the right level of promotion and participation we can easily increase the number of "marker owning" players and thus our community and paintball industry as a whole in Australia.
come to think, It kinda seems unfair in a woodsball envonment to be running around with the equivalent of a mini gun raining 25 bps but still very enjoyable, and a great release after a stressfull week....
Anyway great Forum, stoked to find it. look forward to snapping on with you all.

If you need somewhere closer, try challenge paintball in Wallan, they have regular bushball meets there.
Hope to see you about somewhere...Rawson is also a great place to play but a bit of a drive for you.

Off topic: How dont they make sense?
Apart from a supervised minor (16yo-18yo) not being able to play in Vic, I don't recon its that bad. I hear Germany has better laws.....:confused:

the limit of what type of gats as well i would say
i wouldnt mind having a tippman X7 or JT stealth

yeh ....having guns that look like guns would be cool....then we could dress like soldiers and make up groups called armies...

GL on your endeavour my friend. Judging by your sentence about the direction of Australian Painball, and how it's poised to move closer to it's destiny of bigger and better things, I think your head's in the right spot. It's [Aus PB] pretty vulnerable in the way of striving to foster growth without f**king your punters or members. But it's great to see someone with a vision as pure as simply making the sport bigger on this lil island of ours, without thinking of it as simply another medium through which to get that stuff that makes with world go 'round and 'round and sometimes upside down.
