All American Barrel question

I got this barrel last week ...haven't used it yet.

but the thing is ....not sure if its normal or not. but there is a line (groove) marked on the inside diameter of the barrel towards the front end. its like 2cm inside from the tip

if anyone out there has an all-american barrel, do you have the same thing going on?

maybe its there on purpose. but if its not. i hope it doesn't affect the accuracy of the brrel :s

how deep does it look and is it around the inside diameter (like a ring) or a line down the barrel?

Hard to tell, bit blurry... need to hold the barrel a little further away from the camera and use the camera's zoom to get a closer shot (so it can focus properly), or use Macro setting.
