Newb Question About Range

What can I do to improve the range of my marker(I'm using a stock Ego 8)? Mine shots about 40m with about a foot drop and won't make it to the 50m mark without significant arc on the shot.

dude im pretty sure thats about all ull get,,dont quote me on that though,,markers r not like rifles,there not meant to travel a big distance,,u can try turning up the velocity,but too much will just break paint..40 to 50 m is about all ull get ,maybe 60,,i think,,,
