Who here runs a shocker? I'm just after the tools I'll need to maintain and clean it after I get overshot by Rainman.
Is there anything I can do to it to make it less of an outrageous gas hog.
Please do not suggest converting to C02.
I want a 15 degree ASA on it, and I want to get rid of the plastic tube on the right hand side, it's beginning to tick me off.
And finally:
Who does milling?
After all, I want my shoebox to look pretty.
Unfortunately they are just gas hogs.
I take it you mean the neck that your hopper goes into when you say the plastic tube, youll have to get a vertical feed body to get rid of that.
Pretty much all you will need to maintain it is a tube of smart parts grease, which you can purchase from action paintball, and just lube all the parts it tells you to in the manual, hope this helps you out.

I run an 03 shocker and yes they are gas hogz
but once you are "painted" what does it matter?
After every game you refill - 30 second fix - Shockers RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

only cracks if it hasnt been sprayed right say without a hardner and a oven the paint on hardcores shocker is very good (and i not just saying that cause it used to be mine) and it looks sweet as well and you cant get halequin (not sure on that spelling ) in anno

its still paint.........
annodising is the only real way........paint is only a layer on the metal when u get some thing annodised it stains the metal.
its harder for NSW people to get there markers annodised with all there bad laws.....

I could organize you a new Evolve Boltkit for your 03, its said that you can bust out 1700 shots from a 68/45 .
Or wait 2 weeks, maybe someone is going to offer it in OZ.

Minihux, it still scratches off.. anno is only microns thick, not resistant to scratching, I scratched up a few anodised things - quite easily.. dont know if some sort of powercoating would have prevented this - but I had a custom mountain bike which was powder coated - dropped it many times on gravel.. into bushes and tree's etc.. and the simple fix was a bit of fine t-cut or some really fine wet and dry.. powder coating wouldnt look as pretty as the anno work, but for a rental or " Dont care " gun... it may be the go !
I know fixing anno isnt that simple.. but its not resistant to scratches either... thats why people put stickers on their markers.. much easier to remove sticker glue than to re-anno a marker.. ( and cheaper )
Off my soap box now..

it is quite easy to remove anno...... and it depends on who does it and how good they are when it comes to scratches and etc..........better the work tougher it is....cause we do our own annodising now....... :)

if you do it to often and are not care full when doing it you can end up with rooted tolerances on the inside of the marker

I dont think anyone will offer one here.. unless the laws change.
NDZ will make a bolt kit too..
I want a bolt kit... 550 -600 balls is not sufficient for a 68/3000.
I ordered a regulator adapter instead of the gas through...so i can run a remote, and filter the air.

ahhahahaha yes... when was the last time you tried a remote ?? hmmm?
My arms are weak, so i am running a remote on that HUGE heavy cocker i bought. take off that huge 68/4500 tank and reg, and its a fun time.
no - it might be going back in time, but its quite alot faster to use.
And if i do get a bolt kit for the Shocker i will drop tank size to a 45/4500,
save myself 350g and still have as much air as a normal player
