Right mouse click on the file you wish to resize and click on edit
this should open it in paint ... if it doesn't open paint and open file ...
Click on image in the top bar and click on streach/skew (see image 1)
change the 100's to something smaller depending on how small you need to go (see image 2)
save your resized image (see image 3)
Thanks for that EF, Im sure a few people here will find that very usefull.
Also If you have somethink like Photoshop you can change the size and also then select "save for Web" and play around with the quality to make a real quick loading picture as well.

Sometimes this will degrade the quality of the picture. Its also useful for making a file smaller. Eg. Save a .jpeg using photoshop and its 50k, open it in paint and then
re-save and its like 9k.

Always degrades picture quality with jpg files, the more you save it the crapper it gets, bmp's dont degrade.

Easiest thing to do is to d/l the image resizer from MS powertoys (if using MS Windows, sorry re: Mac users).

You can just right click and resize without going into paint or pshop etc...

Probably the best Image viewer / editor that I've seen apart from PS is FastStone Image Viewer (http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm)... and yes it's FREE!
FastStones able to read 99% of image formats and you can edit / resize them while you're viewing them, & it handles the resize quality well.
Also, if you have any tedious work you can also transfer images from it to your main editing software aswell.
