i am very interested about getting into paintball but buying the gear here seems costly. Is it possible to order over the net, say from the US if you have a gun license etc. any help or thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

carb, if I might give you some advice :
Buy your gear used at first !
There's nothing that can't be fixed and you will save yourself a lot of money.
Go through this forums andlook around, maybe on some other boards that are well frequented.

As for online stores in OZ I just know MacDev and actionpaintball.com . You should give them a call, Mike from APB is a pretty nice guy and I am sure he can hook you up with the info you need.
Cheers
Ben

I agree with Ben as you need to try before you buy as in go to the closest field and talk to players who have been around a while and see what suits you.
Then go to the for sale section here and see what's available or talk to one of the businesses above.
