The Australian Paintball Association website is up and running finally.
There are details of the land we have been looking at and more. Of course we are always going to be adding to the site, and there are a few things that we are still yet to post up, but the majority is done so we wanted to publish it. Members' comments/suggestions are welcome of course! Enjoy.

Those that originaly complained and whined like girls about apa having a dodgey, non pro front page /website that said under construction now has nothing else to whine about.

Looks like its had plenty of hours spent on it, good to see a well layed out menu, and altho that tune is going to get annoying real quick, its a killer sound I long time ago :) Love it on the subwoofer.

Good work.

haha yeh, lose the audio =) at least have a stop button on the page... what if we're reading it at work and that sound blares out?! haha

My only suggestion is to get the logo in there somewhere to start creating a brand awareness...

For someone in design / web design I would of thought you would know what the international speaker symbol means and what a green and red light are, incase you need my expertise Ill inform you, Speaker looking image is a speaker.. And green light means go at the traffic lights, red means stop.. Use your mouse pointer and click green to go, red to stop, these lights next to the international image symbol for sound can only mean one thing..
Start ... Stop

Cant believe you wouldnt figure something like that out?

Put your thinking cap on silly! :bigparty: ( NO one cares about spelling on bills (internet) MARK.. Just for you.. spelling Nazi... :hammer: )

Same goes for GNR_Hexen who doesn know how to stop sound he doesnt like from coming through his speakers.. lol

did you get that cool music from one of Knackers' IPOD play lists?

its not obvious enough =)

i dunno - i've always disliked sounds on websites, what makes YOU think that I want to hear what YOU want me to hear? that kinda thing =) Personally i dont mind the Prodigy, but its not my preferrend kind of music, perhaps use one of those in-website music players where the user can select the track they want to play, or let it run through all the tracks available? But of course when you get to the site theres no music unless you press play....

Nice site, but yeah the music bites.

A webdog podcast would be better...

perhaps lose the "home, contact, sitemap and search" bit up top, and use the extra space to put the logo where the text reads "Australian Paintball Assoc." centered in that area?

That'd be my first thought..

My second would be adjusting the colour scheme of the site - while it does look awesome, it doesn't match the logo colours... need to form a brand and a style to which you can model all your documents etc, so when people see it they say "oh, thats APA" without neccessarily seeing the logo... just like you would be with maccas, coke etc...

The music has been removed as per majority request. I will be updating the site with the details of the Core Series Paintball Promotion Day soon.

Very nice indeed. Did you use a CMS to make it? If you did, which one?

No it isn't a CMS site.
The Scrolling news sections has been updated with pics from the Core Series Promotion Day.
