Woo Hoo .... a great weekend for all ... Thanks to pete and the rest of the mt White staff .... Firestorm for the reffing and lending of markers ... and the rest of my team mate ... jamie, rain man, sonic and luke ...
clean sweep for the Action Paintball guys ... kind of glad we came now ...
real respect goes to the Saints ... shit you guys can throw some paint ... Im sure there will be some "we was robbed" sentements having not dropped a game on the first day and only 1 on the 2nd ... only to loose to a bunch of throw togethers in the finals but you guys played brilliantly I dont think I took a breath the entre game ....
thanks to mike and action paintball games, severe paint and southern comercial divers.
thanks to X-Pres and Jetts for some good advise and letting us play with your new toys ... restectpa !!! you guys ROCK !!!
Congrats to the winning teams. We had a ball reffing you guys there were some good hard games especially on the sup air. Rainy had the move of the torney in the last finals game when all of the saints were eliminated and in a fit of uncontrollable excitement pissbloted up the centre of the feild to hang the flag only to snag his foot on one of the air pipes and end up DOWN :help: :respekt: :respekt: The amount of paint in the air in the last game Saints v Climax Control was mind blowing :armed: :armed:

Thanks to Pete and all the staff, firestorm for the reffing. Good to see reffs not scared to tell the players how it is. No intimidation, no favours just good reffing.
Well done to the boys from Climax Control and the Saints. To travel so far and play with gear that you are not acustom to, you guys rocked.
And Yes Mac Dev, the gear the guns, WOW.
I am getting me one of them puppies.
And i hate the Creek Field, my foot is the wrong colour.
I just wanted to say how excited I am to have won the Amateur Title. The Plate
will have pride of place amoungst the trophies. Myself, Souse, Gerald, Louie and Pappy would all like to thank Miff for the invaluable advice of the only pro player on the team. We couldn't have done it without you!
Regards
Amateur Mikey
P.S. Thanks to all the guys for going easy on me. It's hard being a newbie.

No timmy makes anyone on the other end of timmy suck
Hi Gerald,
It was really cool playing with you this weekend dude.
As for the mask, "I waz robbed" everybody knew that I deserved it, why I even had a speech prepared thanking every body (except Miff of course!). That competition was fully rigged by Paintball Pete and Firestorm.

p.s. Miff did stuff all, it was Gerald, Louie, Sus, Pappy and I that carried the team, while that other poof is just a show boat who likes to get on the web using my password while I am helping old ladies cross the road and other really charitable things. :respekt: :respekt:

You'll make a fine "Cock" one day Mike if you train hard.
What a great week end, good to see more than a few vetren dust off the gear and hit the field. Great to see the Saints make it over and hats off to Mac Dev for making markers available to them. Thanks to FireStorm for making yourselves available to ref, enjoy the paint it's the least we could do
I had alot of fun over the weekend on and off the field. I had missed playing fields like the Creek field, working out plays and plans and splashing through creeks. The wheels fell off our wagon in the semis with the Saints and us leaving no players on the field to grab or hang whoops. A hard fought win over the Jets. Looseing 3 players to Climax Control in the first 10 seconds sealed the deal for that game, I never got to have a shoot out with Jamie and Rain man. And of course a gutsy win by Rat Pak 2 over us in the last game, left us in 5th.
Hope you all made it home safe and in one peice
CU all soon
Gav
Thanks Gav,
When I decide to go pro I will certainly give you a call, but first I want to wait until I have won the whole amateur series then we will see.

Thanks to all who made this weekend a great event, Pete, you did a great job, Andy would have loved it!
Jamie, thanks for the shot of the Timmy, man that is quick!
Macdev, I finally got to shoot a cyborg...yes they ARE impressive! Very quick and accurate, the Saints were certainly cranking theirs!
The guys from New Zealand, good to meet you guys, Peter, I should have got you to put some paint through the shocker instead of just dry firing it.
No major dummy spits from anyone (except maybe Pat, we were on the bush field for the first time and his barricade he had planned to run to on the break got reduced in size since we walked the field the previous day!)
Too bad we (ratpak1) just couldnt play consistantly, we beat both the top teams in the prelims (Saints without losing anyone on sup'air) and a close game that we won against climax control. Unfortunately for us we lost too many games we should have won but seeing as we had players that hadnt played tourney 'ball for 2 1/2 to 5 years, we did OK.
Thank you to all involved, we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Yes, we the second team, kicked the first teams butt in the very first game of the weekend. :hammer: we were even using one the the Hookem's son (to keep the name running) who has never played paintball before, and he even got to run the flag in on one game due to being the only player left on the field, to score enough points to make it into the finals.
