Howdy everyone.

Just a quick "Q"

I have a small problem. I have JT Flex 8 Headshield .. But I dont know how to remove the screws(?) As a Tool cant be used to undo them..Also the instructions does not say how to, and I am unable to find any info on how to do so..

Just wondering .. Do any of you know how to do this, Or is it even possible?

Thanks,
Mark.

prety sure its not supposed to come off mate, you might have to get some good cutters like hand held tin snips and cut it off, if you want it off bad enough

If its anything like the old JT screw system used to hold the ear protection to the face plate (I could misunderstand as I have not seen the latest flex):

hold each end with your fingers and twist in opposite directions. If its being stubborn soak the screw in really hot watter for about 30seconds then dump it in really cold iced water for 5-10 seconds then try again and repeat the process till it you can easily remove them with your fingers. At worst case use two pairs of pliers but dont apply too much pressure. If you cant remove them by twisting in oposite direction using pliers and a soft amount of pressure then get a hack saw or maybe an oxy torch (not recomended - kids dont try this at home)! ;)

If you use the hot / cold water technique make sure the lenses are not installed and soak as little as you can of the mask as possible (concentrate on the screws)

The headshield on the JT's is not supposed to come off.
The only option you have is to drill the rivets out or cut around them.
