Sunday, 9th Nov 2003 at Skirmish SA, Strathalbyn South Australia

To be held on Sup'air field.

Format is as follows:
1. 4 minute game
2. Under 60 seconds: 20 bonus points
3. Flag at either end
4. No points for a flag grab
5. Game ends when the flag is hung, if player is assessed as eliminated, penalty applied viz forfeit game.
6. 40 points for the flag hang
7. 10 points for each opposition player eliminated
8. 10 points for each own team player remaining
9. Under 280 ft/sec chrono on, Under 300 ft/sec chrono off
10. 1 guppy maximum on the field per player
11. All equipment to be carried at all times during the game except for empty guppies
12. Other general tournament play rules apply

Cost is $25 per player and includes:
a. Lunch

All details subject to finalisation.

'Spose you only get better by playing against tougher opposition, so its gonna be educational if nothing else. Looking forward to it none the less.
Hope its not gonna be too windy either. Nothing worse than trying to dodge paint behind a moving barricade:D

Wasn't there for R3 but I'll never forget R1 APPL when Schatts bunker tie snapped and it 1/2 blew away leaving him standing out in the open.... He wasn't happy.... :hammer:

Can't wait for Sunday, go the "Cock Ups"... Hopefully our name doesn't indicate our performance... :D

Don't want to labour the point :whip: but can everyone make sure they've posted/e-mailed me an entrance form, entrance fee would be required on the day. :whip:

I don't want to turn up on Sunday and find out we have 20 teams who really want to play but 10 teams get allocated referee duties without lunch :hammer:

Should be a warm day, hopefully the wind stays away and if the last 3-man is anything to go by it should be an excellent day of paintball :bigparty:

There is going to be a finals round after the regular round :bigparty:

Just to let everyone know this tournament is going to be held next year as a series of 4 rounds.

Dates are:
Rnd 1: 29th Feb 2004
Rnd 2: 16th May 2004
Rnd 3: 1st August 2004
Rnd 4: 17th Oct 2004

Flyers handed out on Sunday.

Hopefully that's enough notice for everyone :-)

Excellent the more ball here is SA the better... :D :D :D

Hopefully the dates don't clash to closely with the SAPPA Rds next year...

...and congrats to all involved in putting it on, it was a great tourny and everyone I spoke to had a blast and can't wait for it to become a regular series next year.... :bow:

....And congrats to JJJ who won the days best and fairest award from the refs after playing awesome ball all day.... :bow: Well done dude.... :respekt: I was a bit worried though... everytime he bunkered someone he started frothing at the mouth and screaming "Take that Deadeye...Take that Deadeye!!!!!" :(

Someone has designed and has started the patent for a device that self inflates sup air barricades. These things hooked onto barricades that used to use hoses and were inflated in a couple of minutes.

I'm glad cause I knew it was just a matter on time before I went ass up over one of those hoses and put a serious dent in the ground!!! :(
