View Full Version : Max Lundqvist Playing with Jersey Athority in the NPPL

Max will play with Rons team "Jersey Authority" semi pro team in NPPL. For NXL hes not sure if he will play for any team. And of course he will play all events with Joy in Millennium and on the world tour. Will be a great year.

Thought he would've got a better offer than one from a semi pro team although it will team him back up with the Blonski brothers (assuming they are still on the squad) who guest many times for Joy back when they were with Aftershock

Jersey Authority are in the Pro division...they are the old A-Team that won Semi Pro in 2006

Alex also plays for Authority. So he probably signed with them to have fun....

Yes you are right - my bad. Just popped over to the NPPL site and they finished the year 10th overall. They brought the A-Team spot. A-Team is still semi pro

Joy quit the NPPL at the end of the 2007 season, hence the significance of Max signing on to play with Authority

his brother alex plays with jersey in the nppl, i think it was rumored AGES ago that max would play with him on jersey

At a guess I reckon they will concentrate on trying to win back to back series championships in the Millenium series - http://www.millennium-series.com/

I know Lane Wright is trying to get Joy to play the NXL and there is a petition on other site trying to convince Joy to play the NXL. I think you will see several Joy players guesting on other teams in the NPPL and NXL.
