tipman A5 import status

Hi I am new to paintball, and I am going through the prosess of getting my paintball permit and permit to aquire in N.S.W. I have noticed that the marker that I have chosen, the tipman A5 has just been declared as r rated customs item in Australia. Does this mean that when i get my p.t.a i wont be able to purchse one anymore?

you will be able to get a pta, just not be able to import it from the states. Action paintball have stock and you'll be able to purchase one from there.

well get marker locally, too much dam paperwork to import a marker, took me 4 months to get my phantom

As Stated above you wont have a problem purchasing an A5 in NSW yes it is restricted for import and needs to be slightly modified to bring in. Call action and they will tell you how many they have in stock:thumbsup:

I have a question for you though, how do you "just notice" an R classification on the A5? it would take weeks of dealing with the registry to find out info like that! and even then the answer may change the next day.....:hammer:

The dude doesnt want to import his own one guys...he says purchase up there...not everybody is trying to bring one in from OS:armed:
