Polishing internals ?

I read alot of good things about internal polishing, how necessary is it ?

Otter says to polish with a 800 - 1000 grit.. but he also says only to polish stock bolts.. metal bolts and delrin / bob long, aparently the AKA lightening bolt doesn't require it..

Suggestions ?

If I had an imagine ( spyder ) would polishing the bolt and internals be beneficial ?

I also heard replacing the ASA could be beneficial, fact or fiction ?

I agree with Jamie (don't tell anyone), it doesn't make a huge difference but it's not a bad idea as it won't hurt and anything you can do at home yourself for free is always worth a go.
