Hello to all. Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Stephen and I live in Mackay Faaarr North NSW (hehe). I moved here from Sydney about 18 months ago and have started the ball rolling on obtaining my firearms license in a view to getting into paintball more seriously than I have been in the past. While I have played a fair bit in the past (casually) I would'nt know one brand of marker from another so forgive me if I ask any stupid questions. Any way I look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible and look forward to any advise you may wish to share.

What does it have that the standard ion doesnt? I'm also wondering if any body has encountered any dramas running a remote tank. Apart from having an air line running around your back what other disadvantages are there?

Are you a bushballer or wanting to play tourney/supair ball? Cos you can't use a remote line in tourney paintball - its in the rules.

it just a lot easer to put your marker down if your not tied up with a line
also i have been hooked in a tree whilst running through the bush it's kinda like a bungee
also something extra to get shot
just ends up being a pain
most markers are liter these days..
my 0.02 cents

Coolness. There is a bushball section on bills. Talk to a few of the boys in there to see what gear is best
