Well the year is over for AXL. This round came down to a battle between Geelong Extreme and X-Fighters Red for the title.

Extreme pulled out all the stops and put all the team they played to the sword coming away victors at this event and taking the overall championship with them....WELL DONE

On behalf of team "UPRISING", I would like to thank Souse for providing a fantastic tournament, Paintball Pete and all his staff for a top notch field and facilities. Also a big thanks to the Geelong Extreme Boys (especially Flip) and the X-Fighter$ guys, who gave us a helping hand being the fact that we had never played X-Ball before. You guys rock! :clap::respekt::thumbsup:

Was great to play and watch Thomas and Aaron play and just show what its like to play against some of the better overseas players.:yes:

Congrats to Blitzreig on the win. Final was awesome going to Sudden Death. Unfortunately there may have been a dodgy call in regards to a 2-4-1, but hey, thats paintball. :yes:

All in all, fantastic weekend and we look forward to possibly playing Rd 2 next year in Coffs.

i personally think the reffing was some of the best i have seen in a long long time.....well done to all refs.....but you still suck

Reffing was awesome, except for that big red headed poof in the corner. Spent more time watching the punters through the mesh then our games, and every now and then when he remembered why he was there, he skipped and pranced on for some random penalties.
