Just wondering if anyone out there can help me. I gots me an ol' mr1 and the elbow fitting on the reg body is leaking. Not a major leak, but a leak non the less. I've tried thread tape, but the stuff just wants to bunch itself up and not stay on or go in with the thread. Any tricks out there to stop this?

Try winding the thread tape on the opposite way,one way will wind it up in a bunch and the other will let it stay put.I cant remember which way it is :DOther than that the threads maybe worn and you new a new fitting or the reg body needs a new thread:( ooo yeah the have some stuff that is like a liquid thread sealant that is good stuff too:D :D :D

I've tried the winding the thread tape both ways but no dice. The threads themselves are ok, nice taper, no stripping or noticable wear either. I've heard some players use a kinda 'glue', made by Loctite, maybe thats my only option other than putting up with it. I used it today at training with no dramas. Thanks anyway Cracker

No worries Loctite make some great stuff and you should be able to get some at an engineering shop or even the auto parts place:D
