I Apologize for this question I know probably everyone is sick of repeating it so I'll make this brief.

Q. Say if you are a minor and you wish to use a marker but its in someone else's name...do they have to be playing paint ball with you and like tied at the hip or is it they can wait in a safe area?

Any help is much appreciated

i believe the license holder must be present. i.e you would not be able to borrow someones shotgun and go shooting without them.

they have to be able to supervise your usage of it. this can be open to inpretation of the law, but just encourage them to come out and play anyways, it might even come down to the field operators discreation

yea its up to the field op. i tried to lend my mate a spare marker at a field and they said no licience no go, and i was playing with him.

under gallery licence (the operator of the field MUST have one of these) if the licencee is present the unlicened user may use the marker as long as it is registered and complies with all laws and regs irrestpective of how close of far the licenced user is as long as they are present at the field

(i used to be a field operator so i kinda know a bit)

hence when you go to firing range and you have no licence you sign in as a visitor and then you can use any frearm there as long as you have the permission of the owner

Yeah but your parent would still need to be at the field with you.
