Getting Sponsorship

We are nowhere near it, but I wanted to know from ppl that have been or are sponsored how they went about getting it?
Then when you are/were what kinda equip/gear etc. did you get?
And who from!!!

hahahaha thats funny:D getting sponsorship in Australia is very hard as there are very few companies that deal with paintball or want to have anything to do with it when the laws are explained to them:D
I suppose that you have to call people and show that you are a commited team with some tournies under your belt(preferably that you have done well in) and show them how you can benefit their company:D

don't give up hope. sponsorship comes and goes, dont forget to try every buisness in your town, city whatever. even the small buissnesses can give you sponsorship. No one said you cant have more than one. A few small amounts adds up to a large one.

If you know someone who loves paintball, and owns or operates a buisness, but doesn't play to often ask them to see if they can swing a few $$$ your teams ways, and in return you give them paint and a marker to play with at your training days etc... their are so many different companys out there and so many ways your team can do things for companies.

Having a good solid team helps with results to back it up..
You have to be out there and been seen.
Before anyone gives you sponsorship, ask your self, what do we want, and what are they going to get out of it.
If you were a business, would you sponsor a team like your own?? If not, then chances are that they wont.. If so, give it a go, whats the worst thing that can happen, they may say "YES".
