I know that we have alot of Ion owners in Aus. was just wondering if any of you guys have different boards, and which ones are available in Aus. I have been to pbreview and would just like to find out which ones we can get here. a long time ago i know that action were getting the Blackhearts in but had issues with customs because of the auto and burst functions. any help would be good.

We had a couple of guys using Virtue boards..

To get them into australia we had to order them without Full auto / Break Out mode..

just as an interesting statment, how did or does customs know that the boards were adjusted without those features?

They were tested at customs with the appropriate marker... In order to have the auto, burst and breakout features removed from the boards we had to order over 20 at a time

yeah thanks for that. the main things that im looking for is first shot drop off and better performance. would be good if i could get one with a mac noid but not really fussed on that.

So does this mean that a b709a is required if you're going to get a board from overseas, as well as guaranteeing it doesn't have 'illegal' modes on it?

i know someone that has some tadao's if your interested.

imo tadao has the best eye logic and easiest programming on the market.

albatros - that would be a yes. When Action ordered the Blackhearts they were knocked back by customs, because they were fully auto/burst. This was going back when the Blackhearts had only just been realised bout a year ago. I do know that if the packaging doesnt have the burst/auto written on the box or paperwork then you should be right. Lucky and APE dont print this on the outter carton from what i have been told.

James - what are the tadao's going at. might have a look at the specs as well but thanks for the info.
