VIC age limit decrease

Straight from the horses mouth to the guys in Victoria, Under a re-elected bracks government they will look at the age limit for playing rec paintball to come into line with NSW :clap: . So the age limit will decrease from 18 to 16, this is because they have seen that it has been sucessful in NSW and that there have been no concerns from people because of the age limit change and to try and bring uniformity into Paintball with cross border issues..... good for victoria.....:dance:

I may not be directly involved in paintball anymore but still working to make it equitable for victorians.

i think the age limit should be 12 all over australia i first played my 1st tourny when i was 13 and we came 2nd in pro am i hope to see more kids get into the sport

No news - i was in touch with DOJ a month ago and its been shelved for the time being. Any internal help would be useful (as in from DOJ contacts) but they march to their own beat.

but seriously back on topic - has anyone heard any rumblings regarding decreasing the VIC age limit cause me and the man do have a brother who'd hanging to play!

we are preparing a detailed submission with data and comments from all interstate fields and the Australian Paintball Assocation. Yes we are working hard on it but do not expect anything anytime soon - things happen slowly in DOJ (especially at election time).
