Firstly mate, welcome.

Secondly, which state are you in? The reason for this question is that this will determine much of what we have to tell you, as there are different regulations you will have to follow for the state or territory in which you reside.

If you're a Queenslander, I and many others I know will be very willing to help, but if you're in another state, I can direct you to some really good guys for excellent and up to date information.

Again, welcome to the best sport in the world, bar none!
You are on the way to stupid amounts of fun.:evil

Come down to MIP this Sunday (or any Sunday) at 3.30 and have a look at our club session. Two fields, bar, showers, lounge and some club guns if you want to give it a go. Email me if you're coming down and i'll put some time aside to show you around.

Cheers

Ok.

I'm not familiar with where you're at, but some of the guys you wanna look out for are Hideous or Neil.

Check them out via the members list, and PM them for any questions you may have. They'll be able to direct you to info both on here and for licensing requirements etc that will be most applicable in Victoria.

Have fun mate, and again, welcome.

Go kick some ass!

There is so much good kit coming out in the next 4 weeks so you picked a great time to be gearing up. So many choices.

There are some great guns at all different prices. SP Ion is pretty good for the price but you would probably be outgunned - especially in a fast paced indoor enviroment. If you want start at the top from the get go then we have some other top end guns - Cyborg as our number one and very (very) fast. There are other fast and cool guns coming out very soon - the new Ego's look pretty good and if they shoot as well as they look then they will be up there as well. The guys from our club and PPC (and extreme indoor) are pretty friendly and will show you their kit and probably give you a go.

Dont rush into buying anything. Take your time and try alot of products. We have a big session coming up on the 26th of this month with alot of gear on show including the new 07 Ego. Its a great way to meet alot of tournament players and check out and try their gear and see what suits you the best.

Auspaint, by all means, come along to either of the above venues, the guys who are commenting there are the owners...so if they say you are welcome...you are!
The peninsula paintball club is an organisation here in Vic that strives to keep paintball available to the masses, we were the only option for a very long time in Victoria whilst our gun laws prevented any practical type of commercial operation.
Our next meeting is on the 26th of November at the Xtreme indoor paintball field in Geelong, check out the link in Flips signature for more info on where etc.... I believe start time will be 2pm.
Also, MIP is frequented by quite a few of our club members and they also have their own arrangement of a club membership there (as will Xtreme).
Dive in a check them out mate, either way, Im sure you will have fun!
Probably in mid December the Peninsula Paintball Club will have their final meet for the year, most likley at Carrum Downs (near Dandenong).
If you want to "jump on board" with the club, email me on ratpak@bigpond.net.au and I will put you on the mailing list so you can keep up to date with what is happening with the club.
Cheers, Neil, Vice pres, PPC

BIG THANKS

TO all you guys i mite come down to the one at geelong on the 26th and may i bring some mates as we are all looking to get into the sport. And we dont really want to be behind the 8ball from the start so we would have to look at some top level markers.

Once again guys thanks for your help its nice to see you guys help out the new comers to your sport and we look forward to hitting the fields soon to shoot some paint with you all

Cheers Scott
