On Tuesday a meeting was held between NSW field operators and the NSW Government / Firearms.
From initial reports the result is quite positive for paintball in NSW, and hopefully we will see the results in place before this christmas.

While its premature to go into detail, one point that was raised is that if at least 80% of NSW field operators can put their differences aside to form an association, that association will be recognised by the state government, and its representives will have direct access to the decision makers.

well done guys! :respekt:
it's nice to see some solidarity in the industry.

while we may be business competitors we all win if the powers that be change the laws to make it easier for us to operate and our sport to grow.

nice if you could lower the age restriction. while they don't spend a lot, there are lots of them and they are our sport's future.

The important thing is to come to together as a group....To much bickering between rifle and pistol shooters in Australia makes sport shooting suffer big time....why do you think I started paintball apart from the fact it's awesome....if all states come together as one voice, paintball will be better for it...well done to all the people involved in this legislation reform, it's a big step forward for tha sport!
