Yes people, finally, we have started the ASPPL, and for those of you who have no idea of what I am talking about, the ASPPL is the Australian Scenario Paintball Players League, so now there is an organisation completely devoted to scenario Paintball operating in our country. We are holding a trial tournament at Action Paintball Games in late September ( We have officially released a date, but this may be moved forward or backwards a week or two, because it curently coincideds with the AFL Grand Final, and airfares are expensive for the weekend. ).

Details of the tournament are available http://www.billspaintball.com/vb3//showthread.php?p=157359#post157359, along with a downloadable version of the rules, attached to this post, to which the tournament will adhere to, and yes, we do recognise that some of the rules may recieve alot of bantering, and the ASPPL committee will deal with these issues when they arise.

Next year we are planning to hold a national series, consisting of 4-5 rounds being held all over the country.

If you require more information, please don't hesitate to contact me, by PM, Email, or MSN.

We were just trialing the SPPL format for some fun this is along the same lines and the aim is to have us all using the same format in Oz. It will evolve and we will have ASPPL games at Samford and we can have fully blown SPPL games we can do what ever the players want. But the ASPPL will mean a common format can be shared accross borders and that would be a great thing in the long run for Bush Ball.

Too right Gav, we are planning to hold our first national series next year, with the rounds hopefully being played all over the country, though only being a 4 or 5 round series...but Samford will definately be holding one of the rounds ( Hmm, maybe I should have asked you first Gav... ) and Action Paintball in Sydney will be holding another round, with the locations of the other rounds yet to be confirmed.

Ah, um, yes. Are you attempting to intimate that you are better at AFL, or better as Scenario Play?

If it is the former, then there is some history and statistics to base this hypothesis on. If it is the latter, then I would like to know exactly what you are basing this particular hypothesis on mate...

As for AFL. I've never played it and won't comment on what's better but then again this isn't an AFL forum is it?;)
