GO FOR IT Indoor Paintball and Beach Volleyball

well all there is another new INDOOR field ....located in Gladstone(one hour drive sth of Rockhampton) the field is 40 m by 30 m and set up with airball bunkers from Blade OzAir.(BONES)..they have it all, temples, moons, snake, cans, beams and the big X........the playing surface....well it is an old indoor cricket centre so the surface is high impact carpet type ......now it got a bit of paint on it it is great for sliding....even old cripples like me can do it.....
so what is different about this one to other indoors??? well GO FOR IT has got a pro shop, so has others, GO FOR IT has electo markers, so has others, GO FOR IT has a licenced BAR....mmmm not sure on others.....and the bar is air conned.....sit watch games and have a couple quite ones while watching paintball on the TV too....
the CQ CARNIVORES just trained all weekend at GO FOR IT and all we can say is WOW.....Stuart and Tracey are great people with a great venue..they are thee for the SPORT of paintball with legues and comps planned to bring paintbal to the attention of the public in Gladstone.....

after a great weekend there, the Carnis would like to thank Stew and Trace and big Andi ( the breaky and lunch was great) very much for the hospitality shown to the team and to the many people of Gladdy that come out to see us train and talk thanks to you all as well.....we will be back at GO FOR IT very soon for more great times....

Finally Gladstone has a decent Pball field. This one rocks!!!
And now I only have to drive 10 minutes to get to my local field instead of an hour and a half!

Last game i had up there was when i used to arrange games for Gladstone out behind the powerhouse. We had the old pumps and a VM68 was the top of the market.

The boys used to drive down from Rocky with all the gear, we would set up, run whoever was booked in, clean and pack up, then they would head back up to Rocky - making it a long day..

No face masks, mostly just wearing wrap around safety glasses..

Mad props to Go For It! They made the Carnies feel really welcome. They cooked us food, took photos and had a bunch of local kids in to watch us train. Now I know what it feels like to be a celeb paintballer like an X-Fighter. :)

Was in town last week called in to say high and steve and his son showed me arround. The new barracades look good big x in the middle plenty of room to run arround the set up should work well. I wish Go For It lots of customers and a long standing business. APM should run a small story on the field soon this is what we need more fields and different desinations to play.
Looking forward to Go For It when I am backup in CQ Wortho
