PAINTBALL ASIA CUP 2006 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Date: 10th & 11th June 2006 (Captain’s Meeting @ 9th June)

Venue: Padang Timur, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan

Fields: 4 Sup’Airball Fields

Divisions: Open Div, Div1 (Pro-Am), Div2 (Am) and Div3 (Novice)
Format: 5 man (+ 2 reserves), Capture the Flag, 5 minutes game
Marshals: Malaysian & European Marshals
Rules: Asia Rules

Entry Fee: OPEN DIVISION – USD300.00 / RM1,140.00
(Includes Air Open Category – all markers allowed & CO2)

DIVISION 1 (Pro-Am) – USD220.00 / RM835.00
Open to Asia only – all markers allowed

DIVISION 2 (Amateur) - USD180.00 / RM685.00
Open to Asia only – all markers allowed

DIVISION 3 (Novice) USD120.00 / RM455.00
Open to Asia only
Electronic Markers worth USD300.00 and below

Game Format:

- Minimum 9 games / team
- 4 fields
- Minimum 19 bunkers / field
- 5 minutes game
- Minimum 6 marshals / field
- High pressure air (Bauer Compressors) 3,000 – 4,500psi


Marker Requirements:

Open, Pro-Am (Division 1), Amateur (Division 2):

a.) Open Markers
b.) PSP Mode Ramping cap at 15bps


Novice (Division 3)

a.) Markers below USD 300.00
b.) Semi Mode (capped @ 15bps)


Tentative Scoring Method:

4pt - eliminations (max 20pts)
2pt - live player (max 10pts)
20pt - flag capture
40pt - flag hang
10pt - fast game (in the event team finishes game by 2 minutes)

Maximum possible scoring – 100pts

Whats the deal with firearms licences, customs clearance Dean?

The deals are all cleared.... The same way we cleared the markers and licenses out the same will be imposted in this event.... There will be no issues, unless someone not from the authorities are saying so or take matters in to their own hands there will be issues.

Issues of sabotage.... but I dont think there will be any. Coz we are genuine and the game is being recognized by the Authorities and the Goverment here... You will see more here in Malaysia this time round, I promise!!!
