View Full Version : Australian Paintball Survey - On now!
APM Survey - Paintballers off Australia, who are you?
We are running a survey here on behalf of APM to assist them in getting some accurate data on paintball and players in Australia.
The information collected is used for the demographics and promotion of this sport and will help tailor advertising.
Personal information will not be forwarded to any parties or any other business or marketing body.
Take Survey (http://www.billspaintball.com/survey/survey.php?sid=28)
I urge you all to support the first local magazine we have had for quite some time, and spend the 3 minutes it takes to do this survey.

Good idea ...
Just to let you know, there's a spelling mistake on ...
"What Intrests do you have besides Paintball?"
Also, that question should have a text field where you could enter something other than the current selections.
I also feel that there is a mistake in the same question.....
There are no other interests beyond paintball !!!

Done the survey. If it helps and promotes paintball in Australia then thats fine with me. The new mag sounds good, I just need to find a news agent that sells it in WA. I have asked a few major news agents and they just give you a dumb look..GRRrrrr:confused:

One question they should have asked...
If you reguarly play paintball, have all your own gear except marker, what is stopping you from purchasing one?
For me, living in ACT where private ownership of paintball markers is still prohibited means I have to play with a marker which is registered and stored at the field I play/work at. :thumbsdow
Im sure there are others who have been knocked back on permits for some reason or another who still use field guns to be able to play.
Maybe Wortho and the boys can help us out down here in ACT with getting these pathetic laws changed. Henry G has been having talks with some of the local pollies and hopefully something will come of it all. I've been holding social tourneys to help bring social players out of the woods and into the tournament sport side of things, with the last one I put on raising money for charity. We also got some really positive promotion from local radio station 104.7 for the event. All these things no doubt will help the image of paintball in the ACT.
Untill laws are changed and all states/territories have the same ability to get players into the sport the stats will be a little out.

I answered truthfully, If I was to say I was licenced, but live in the ACT, wouldnt I be contradicting myself?

I work at Predator Paintball, and have my gun registered and stored there. It works for me, but I would prefer if I could be licenced and own it under my own name.
