Testing new site Front end - Feedback wanted

Im toying around with a new front end to the site.

The idea is to have more useful info on the front, and also to get the casual visitor to drop by the forums.

Also, the news is being parsed straight from the News forum.
The reasoning behind this is that you guys will be able to comment on the news, and also that you actually see the news. (Many regulars skip the front and jump straight to the forums).

Anyhow, comments and suggestions anyone?

comments - looks sweet, I like it alot. Has more from the first page. no need for more milling :D

suggestions - maybe the next upcomming event / countdown to the event, that's logged into the calendar?

comments- love the front, looks good, would like to see the front page with more updates, such as shops with sales, upcoming tourny's on a marquee or something, and for a final touch, maybe a new colour scheme to forums/front page?

looks good. I am one that has the forums as a bookmark and not the actuall site.

There is a lot more info there now witch should get more new ppl to head to the forums.

As sniper said a new colour/theme could be good.

Its better then what we have now,
shows online people
new posts
new threads
current poll
and stats etc..
all on front page without clicking a thing, and yes i am one of those to go to the bookmark on front page and click straight on the "forums" button as soon as it loads. Rarely view or read whats on front page as it doesnt change to offten.

Im more than happy to post that info as news items, but people have to tell me (or a Mod or reporter) about it so we can post it.

I did want an updated logo, but my attempts at that were rather unsucessful to say the least...

Looks tops, yea i had my hompage set for forums :lol: no homepage for me.

As for color nope bills always been this color lets keep it, same with the logo :thumbsup:
