Hey Alex any verdict on a release date on PS2 format in Aus?

Got it last night and played for about 4 hours and is basically the same as the first except the 2 changes being you can pre-plan your players breakout and you can move your players up, call out to cover a bunker and pin an opposing player down. Other than those few changes it just has the feel and graphics of the first one. Oh and you can apparently create your own field and create your own tourny.
If your a paintballer, like playing X-Box and enjoyed the first one then its worth the $50 bucks. But i just felt i was playing the first one graphics wise.

I think it will be great to be able to play live and also you can play split screen so invest in a big Television.

Instead of having 1UP and 2UP on the screen, it comes up with Player A and...well you get it...

I've got a lovely big Plasma that would fit the bill quite well...Just need a friend to play with now :(

Hey boysieMelb, I haven't heard anything about the PS2 release date. You should do what I did and what a lot of paintballers around the world have done: just go out and buy an X-Box just for GHTP. I might as well glue the lid down, 'coz it's very rare anything else would ever be played around here.

And BJM, have you noticed that the button to work the cheat meter is the "A" button? Coincidence? Hmmm...

Ive been playing it for about a week mainly co op multi player and its not bad.. dont expect it to be anything like a first person shooter as its a simulation pretty much directly of paintball.. games are quick maybe 10 - 30 seconds each.. the AIs not bad..

Great fun for during the week when you can get to the field but not overwhelmingly brilliant - much better titles on Xbox or PS2.. when I bought it they gave me a demo of a new game called BLACK - from what I have seen one of the best games ever on Xbox or PS2 - kills HALO.

yes Black is awesome go into you rlocal games shop and ask for the demo cd.. fully playable one level... best title I have seen on xbox ever.. really pushes the capability.. the detail is amazing and EVERYTHING can be blown up, damaged or destroyed..
