Finally the info for the Super 7 Series has been released. Unfortantly the rumoured second round for WA has been cancelled and instead will be played in Sydney as the final game at Action's Rouse Hill field.

4 ROUNDS:

• Round 1 – Action Paintball Games P/L (Rouse Hill, Sydney NSW) Feb 18th to 19th
• Round 2 – Action Paintball Games P/L (Rouse Hill, Sydney NSW) May 13th to 14th
• Round 3 – Samford Skirmish (Samford, Brisbane QLD) Aug 5th to 6th
• Round 4 - NSW – Action Paintball Games P/L (Canoelands, Sydney NSW) Nov 16th to 19th

3 DIVISIONS:

Professional
Professional Teams do not ref any of the Super 7s events……….
Team Registration for Pro Division in the 2006 Super 7s Entry is $1500.00 per team (payable 2 weeks before round 1 of the Super 7s) This goes to the prize pool for the end of the year.

Entry to each round of the Super 7s - $1,400.00
Prize pool for each round

1st $5,000.00
2nd $2,000.0
3rd $1000.00

Plus 7 individual trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams

Limited to whatever the number of teams that enter at the start of the year, the 9 teams entered so far for 2006 are listed below. Overseas teams may be given a wild card entry to compete at any event at the discretion of the promoter.

Semi Pro:

No limit to number of teams.
Team Registration for Semi Pro Division in the 2006 Super 7s Entry is $0 per team

Entry to each round of the Super 7s - $1,050.00

Prize Pool (Minimum)

1st $2,500.00

2nd $1,000.00
3rd $500.00

Plus 7 individual trophies for each placed team
The team that wins the Division 1 season will go up to the Pro Division the following year

Division 1

No limit to number of Division 2 teams
Team Registration for Division 1in the 2006 Super 7s Entry is $0 per team

Entry to each round of the Super 7s - $700.00

Prize Pool (no Cash)
1st – gift voucher to Paintballshop.com.au to the value of $1000.00

Plus 7 individual trophies for the first placed team


Only 2 semi pro players are allowed to play on a Div 2 roster per team per event. Any player with more than 2 years experience in tournament play is classed as semi pro. No pro players are allowed on a Div 1 roster.

Points Structure
The points attained for each round work the same for each division -

1st - 50 points
2nd - 47 points
3rd - 46 points
4th - 44 points
5th – 41 points
6th – 40 points
7th – 39 points
8th - 38 points
And the points drop by one until 15th and then all teams below this receive 20 points only for attending.



2006 Pro Series Champions:

$10,000.00 cash! + Super 7s Shield
7 x Gold Super 7s Championship rings to the value of $3000.00

4 x$5000.00 first place cash for each round
4 x $2500.00 second place cash for each round
4 x $1250.00 third place cash for each round
1 x $10,000.00 cash for series win

$45,000.00 minimum total prize money for 2006 Pro division teams plus championship rings and trophies……………..You will want to start your team training now……………

2006 Semi Pro Series Champions:

Winning team gets regulated to Pro Division and their $1,500.00
Pro series entry (for next year) is paid for them.

2006 Division 1 Champions:

Winning team gets relegated automatically to the Semi Pro Division.
Wins 10 boxes of AcuBall to train with for next season.
