Because most of the Pro teams have sponsor paint requirements. But if they play under a mock name then they should by the organiser paint.

As for paint issue. All Div 1 and Pro teams have been playing long enough and usually and their paint source. The reason we started this 3 man league was to encourge re ballers and new players into the sport to come out and give it a go. This is the market that we and the sponsors are aiming at and trying to promote mainly to. Thus no Div 2 team should have a paint supplier or distributor. These are the teams who have really just walk off the street, played and liked it and wanted that little more, as we all have. If any div 2 team dont want to play due to this, then fine dont play, OR step upto Div 1. Sorry, but thats they way it is. This shouldnt be any inconvienence to any one.

Not one to start an argument and I wont, but why bring this to attention to Div 2 teams 3 weeks before the tourney when most of us I guess have sourced paint from a supplier, I ask :confused: Then have the nerve to say if you dont like it then dont play :fu: what kind of introduction to the sport is that ......:confused: :confused: This is one DIV 2 team that wont be playing............... TAKTIX ............. out

Come on Detonator why not just step up a div and shoot that paint that you have pre organised? May not be the best/perfect solution but atleast your out there having a run. Plus it'll add another team to an already good looking tourney turn out, more teams = more games. Or... just dont show and miss what will surely be another good day of ballin. Either way :yawn:

I also understand that the field owner needs to come out in front financially at the end of the days play. If the organisers want the div 2 teams to purchase paint only from the field then it needs to be writen into the rules and signed off to. just my two cents worth.

Cheers to all for the spport....:thumbsup: .... Now just to clarify a few things this is the first year that Team taktix has played, one of our players has played for a few years, myself this is the first year. We meaning myself and a teammate played 1 round of SAPPA last year in round 5 with a motly team called OZ PAC just to make numbers and we had a ball... Cheers to Martin and the other guys :clap:
Now to the issue of this paint, I have no dramas using the sponsers paint but why bring it to attention a couple of weeks prior to the tourney....:confused: ... It should have been brought to attention right from day one... :yes: ... Well thats my story thanks for taking time to read it. Taktix will be at the 3MXL as we had a ball at round one.....Peace out...

Entries have now closed. As we expected we have less teams than Rd 1, thankfully, this will be easier on our behalf to run. Thanks to all the teams that entered.:respekt: for your support. I was still waiting to hear back from another 4 teams and still aint heard. So at this stage we have 11 teams. I am doing the draw on Wednesday night so if I get late entries before then I will still accept them.
As for the late notice on paint for Div 2 teams, I am really sorry about this, however after the events at round 1 that saw other supplyers selling paint on the day, whom to which are not sponsors of any type to the 3MXL, the decision was made that week following. Due to us not having a mailing list or any such thing (hence no yearly fees) all Div 2 teams were to be told as they rang to enter. Because teams were entering here on Bills and not ringing, I posted a notice here for all to see. Thats the best we could do with the resources we have.
I look forward to seeing you all nice and early on Sunday morning. Remember captains meeting 8.30am so get there early to register and walk the field (only sup air this round.):evil

All will be revieled on the morning..
But I woul dsay there will be a few rounds and yes finals. Unsure how they will be ran yet as we only have 3 Pro and 4 Div 1. So prob top 2 Pro and all 4 Div 1. Pro best of 3. Div 1 where you finish at end of rounds is where you stay. 1st & 2nd best of 3 for 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th best of 3 for 3rd & 4th.

Hey peeps. With only 2 sleeps to go we are all pumped about this round. With 13 teams, a lovely 23 degree day forcasted, it will be a great day of ball for all those involved.

Just a reminder to all S.A players that day light savings ends this Sat night, adjust ya clocks.

We will be doing our best to have the field up for walking and the field "LIVE" by 8am and captains meeting at 8.30am.
