Just want to know if any one can give me details and prices on where to get a high pressure air compressor to fill paintball cylinders and Scuba Cylinders.
Does not have to be a large one but cheap or secondhand would be good.

Any info would be great.

Thanks:D

Townsville Skin Diving Centre in Townsville has a recondition Compressor for $7000. It is 3 times more powerful then mine & is close to the same price.

sniperwolf that would be good if your compressor could pump to 3000 or 4500psi. doubt it though you'd prob just enough psi to fill your push bike tyres

ive senn booneys and heard how much he payed for it, hes rite but 20k would be more like something that you would use for commercial paintball. his compressor is prefect for filling the teams bottles between training games.

I did check this option out earlier in the year. I could only find a new small compressor. The price was between $5K and $6K. The unit looked perfect but I did not have that much cash spare. The unit was a Bauer Junior II from Australian Saftey Group (ASG) in WA.

I am not able to attached the spec sheet or quote that was sent to me because of the file size. If you would like a copy PM me with your email and I will send them to you.

looks like it would be cheaper to buy the bottles and get them filled at the scuba shop

There is a lot more to it than just buying a compressor.
The compressor its self is cheap. Ranging from $4,000-15,000. But then you need air banks and ll the rest to go with it which sets you back another $3,000 upto $7,000 depends on what you want. Our unit total cost is about $11,000.

I checked the one at my work, on the gauge, the max psi is 1800. Would that be able to fill a 4500 tank?

yes guys you can fill a 4500PSI bottle with a 1800PSI compressor .. does anyone want to take a guess at how much air you would have in there ....I'll give you some time to think

thats right ... 1800 PSI ... well done ..

*geez*

anyway talk to jamie .. he is the king on compressors

Actually its education in general that is lacking. When I was at school, about half of the people I knew who went to a private school are now fully qualified shovel supports, occasionally appear to work once in a while, and sometimes have a thought other than "beer" pop into their brain. I even recall one girl (who was in year 12 at the time, and attending the best private school in the area) whom we had convinced that lambs were baby emus... I often wonder how their parents feel after spending all that money for the "best education money can buy"...

But anyway, I thought it was a bit obvious that a 1800psi compressor could only fill a 4500psi bottle to 1800psi. It's in the same league as asking if a cup (250mL) of water will fill a 1L jug...

a cup will fill a litre jug, you just gotta fill and empty the cup 4 times into the jug...an 1800 psi compressor aint ever going to "fill" a 4500psi tank

stoopid is as stoopid does..... no matter how much money mummy and daddy throw at it.

our compressor that we only use for paintball has a 35000 dollar replacement value and we have a comp about 3 times the size at the workshop
