i would thouroughly reccommend Henry's Sessions - taught us all plenty about this new style of 'play' - he's a pro who's been at it for years - you only need look at his Ghillie and Pimped out marker :respekt: (with solid stock and remote) to know he's the real deal - great sessions for teams - all about position plays, his work on crawling, camo and getting into the 'rambo' mindset really have helped my game. - He's also got some special tips for 'snipers'

Check it out - well worth the effort :armed:

cheers again lads - helping the sport out greatly :hammer:  :fu:

there's more posts made by tourney players on the a5/woodsballer threads then there are by ppl wanting to play recball.

Perhaps they we're a bit harsh on newbie players, but consider it not so subtle encouragement to stop bashing rental players and move up with the big boys and girls of the tournament scene. :)

haha - i can imagine the amount of Hass we'd cop if we came out of the scrub and played in a tournie with the Tippy's.... was tempting for the Serpi 5man... Sad truth is, heaps of new players are either young, or Uni students - and dont have the disposable cash to throw down on a tourney grade marker. -even the ion you are looking at close to a grand once you add in air and a decent hopper.. -recball is a way to get into teh sport now and play and enjoy -and hone skills until you can afford the $ for competition play - even crawling around in teh bush -you are at least building up awareness and shooting skills - im sure i'll eventually get onto a tourney feild - even if i still am using the tippy... it might get a laugh - it might also claim a scalp or two.

whatever happens - im in it for the fun - and it'd be good to get a break from teh constant anti Recball flavour around here...

Maybe you should have tried playing. You wouldn't have scored marks for your equipment, but you would have got a 10 in my book for effort.

Then explain to me the amount of players willing to for out for tricked out barrels , scopes and collapsable stocks then?

I'm sure you are and so am I. But wouldn't it be sad if this great sport went away because some wannabe army looser decides to go mental and shoots up a shopping centre or something. I personally would like to promote the sporting aspects of the game, not the fake military side. Rec ball is good and fun, but tourney ball is SO much better!

-its the Up front costs of tourney ball - can get everything for 'rec' for $1k over a year - just to play tourney ball (buying the equipment) you are looking at $900 straight up. -plus if you are slave to fashion -its another 2-300 in clothing to make sure you ahve latest jerserys.... etc...

I played at samford three weeks ago and I noticed two dudes (one was sniper and other wasnt) had the full gear on and everything. I think they drove a forbie there?
Any of them you peeps?

If you are, you might remember me in the drum game, I was the one with no gun, I carried the drum and rammed it into the fort, and was the one in speedball doing all the change-overs with the signs.
