I have never played lasers whats it like ?........ I thinkin it would kinda be a down grade
In lazer tag theres no effort. As they are all like. SHOT YOU.. I DONT GIV A F###. When they get lazy.
But in paintball. Its pure action and effort usualy start to finish, as nobody really wants to get hit so they put all the effort they have in there body into the game. = a more real expereience. And i cant wait to play next month!! WOOH

when in brissy last time i was taken for a look at a laser tag set up.
didn't get a chance to play but it was intriging. with the 'weapons' (as such), that emmit IR lights at differing speeds, patterns, distances and angels give the effect of different firearms like shotguns, flamethrowers, grenades, sniper rifles etc etc. (it's no longer like Zone 3 anymore)
thoes of us who still enjoy playing the old paintball style with senarios and such wouldn't be remiss in giving it a go, not only in rural setups but also in urban locales.
it's not better than playing ball, just different...

I find outdoor lasertag is a bit like old fashioned woodsball when you play in a bush setting. Movement, concealment, communication, fire-lanes....
The equipment has huge range, and is configurable in the number of hitpoints, rate of fire etc which allows for good variation in the types of missions/scenarios you can do.
None of the agro of a player playing on after a hit. But you don't get the adrenaline of whacking someone and being whacked in return.

Laser can be played over large areas with lighter supervision, which makes it better suited for large scenarios.
Paintball is good for in your face close up arcade action.

Hey Dougie, you are going to be invited to my birthday party in November, (saving up big time for it) and am going to play laser tag, and was going to kick it all off with red cordial. If red is not a favourite of yours, please let me know if green will suffice.Thats even more money gone now on different flavoured cordials.

Bundy cannot compare to a damn fine port!
Paintball is not as down market as red cordial.
