What are Drops & Cradles?? And what do they do?

just wandering what are drops and cradles for? and what are there purpose on a marker? sorry if you have heard these questions before.

yeah kempe coverd that with a simple answer. And it doesnt get much more simple then that. Also like he said search things in google, it will become your best friend ;)
