hey guys, im getting an A5 and am wanting to get a stock for it and also wanting a remote so therefor i started thinking about air thru stock setups?

something like this http://www.pbreview.com/pics/thumb1121362473.jpg

aparently you have to drill a hole through the side of you marker to install it or something, this is not something i trust myself to do.

is this kind of thing worth it or is it better jsut to get the stock and then have a seperate remote? is it even worth going remote?

If you plan on running Co2 though it kempe (michael?) then yeah I would be partial to the remote..I used to run a mag back in the day on a remote system and never ever had an issue with it freezing up

Is your stock purely for aesthetics? If its not I would suggest trying your tank as the stock and seeing how it feels..

P.S. - Listen to jake and go with the Ion ;)

its for aethetics but i also do alot of rifle shooting and figure it will be more natural for me, i dont like the way one has to hold the marker away from the shoulder with no support.

and yes im going to be running co2

thanks

Yes thats why I am saying to use your tank as a stock...That way you can shoulder it quite naturally..Its worth a try as stocks seem to be a bit of a "grey" area in the law..

yeah im right with the whole legal side of it, i found some legal ones which action are selling, all i gotta do now is try and find an air thru version.

do you think its better to jsut use a normal remote because then if i decide to get rid of the stock i can still use a remote

Most stocks have a quick disconnect for a normal remote anyway..

As a side note I have a remote harness I would be willing to part with...Shoot me a PM if you're interested

just buy actions stock and run a remote - its easier -my mates ahve just done it - and even the tourney boys couldnt wait to put them up to their arms.... like little kids at xmas.... solid stocks are legal - and actions look great, especially with a flatline. -and its alot of effor tto get it through teh red tape
