I'm looking to get some new goggles and came accross these 2. they look similar and are both similar in price (nForcer being more expensive.) Are they any good and which one is better?

Both are a good goggle made by JT, the nVader uses the Elite lens (180 degrees of vision) & the nForcer uses the Spectra lens (260 degrees of vision). Both offer nearly the same level of protection. I have heard that the plastic inserts on them can sometimes break off after being shot. Both systems are quite heavy compared to other goggle systems.
You will have a larger lens choice with the nForcer.

And for some funny information, JT is no longer allowed to sell the nVader in the USA as it has the word Vader in its name and that is trademarked by Lucasarts.

The EL is a great goggle system. They also have one of the easiest lenses to change. It takes around 30 seconds.
I have Black and Olive in stock.

A word of advice M@lew, do not be tight arsed when it comes to buying a set of goggles. You will kick yourself very hard when you find out that the cheap pair of goggles you bought start falling apart and feel very uncomfortable after a while. Go cheap and nasty with everything else, just not with goggles.

Oh ok. Thanks for the advice. But I've been reading the reviews for the Proto Switch EL and it seems very good ( and I don't really have alot of money after buying my marker and such) so I think I'll go with them unless there's something I should know.

Never owned or used a pair of Proto Switch EL's, so I won't comment on them. I've only ever had JT Spectras (Flex 7's and now Proflex's) and they are super comfortable, have good anti-fog characteristics (especially using the fan units) and get a good amount of bounces. Only downside I think is the process of replacing the lense which can be a pain sometimes.

I've used the JT Proteus, the Flex-7 and the JT Axiom FX-10's.

Just before South Pac's I got myself a pair of the Proto Switch. The proto's seem to have more foam and feel quite comfortable. The lens are easy to change and cheaper than other systems. (Yes don't forget you'll be replacing lenses, so take their costs into consideration)

One more things, how's the jt fx-10? Because Deadeye has one for sale for $50.
