I need some advice.

I have recently decided to purchase a barrel match kit. I am curious as to what happens if you choose a size that is way to big for the balls? Does this cause many problems or doesnt it matter. Reason I ask is that I was looking at a Dye Boomie and I just thought I would buy the largest bore size, say .692 but would this have an adverse effect on smaller sized paintballs? What would be the result and if so,what size does everyone reccommend?

Thanx for listening.

slightly less efficient on gas and you may notice it to be a little less accurate. advantages are you dont need to worry about ball breaks if you get a large ball go through.

i was thinking similar to same i fi can't get a new 2nd hand barrel. Matchsitck kit with just 16" front and .692 back. Apparently Dynasty just use large backs...but i am sure i heard this on a forum so only god knows how truthful this is...

tis true ... the only reason you needed to match the bore was to stop the ball rolling out not we have ball detents so big bore and never break a ball

I'm with stupid.
I've upgraded to a bigger barrel and it's so much better for shooting thru breaks if they happen. You're also less likely to get a break if you oversize.

in most cases it is good but unlike on the weekend if the bore was to big it would break down the barrel alot but when it was just right no problems.
