Reputation System

There has been a few complaints about the reputation system being abused.

We have 3 options.
1 - Leave it as is and come down very hard on people who abuse it.
2 - Change it so it shows who left the reputation.
3 - Remove the reputation system all togeather.

What does everyone think?

1 or 2....The idea is good especially for the new posters as when you get a few reps from the older posters its kinda like getting the good rep from a master. Its the same thing as on the field. You play as a noobie get a good rep bu still get given advice and it makes you all the better for it. I think Good rep should be anonomoyus and bad reps should have a Nickname attached so as you can see who did it and ask them why if there was no reason left.

Option 1 - People need to learn to not take it so seriously, but if some-one does leave something abusive then the Mods should come down hard on them.

i agree option one. though a complaint should be made before action is taken on the said individual.

on a lighter note
we should still be able to abuse jjj cause he is small and cant retaliate.

Option 2. The system can work alright if people dont take advtange of it and that would stop it. Its just a bit of fun for some ppl in the end, option 2 keeps tools accountable.

Ok Ags and I have a question. Is the negative rep system capped? For instance we have been giving a certain person who shal remain nameless. ..lets just call him tunit-bj bad rep and ags hit him 3 times when he was on 2 red blocks and he didn't move down to a 3rd red block????
Normally they move down about .75 of a block with each vote.

You cannot continually give 1 person reputation, either positive or negative.

If you give someone reputation, you must give a number of other people reputation (I cant remember the number off the top of my head) before you can give that person reputation again, unless your a Mod :evil

Also, the higher your reputation, the more points you give or take off someone else.

If you have a really bad reputation, your giving ability is zero :lol:

We are well aware of this BIll:D:clap: Ags spread rep in between the 3 negative hits, but we think now the reason is cause someone was spreading him positive rep at the same time cancelling it out..... This house is clean.
