On what marker??? Some come with a lot of hardware already on the marker, meaning you just have to screw in a preset.

Others require you to buy an on/off, rail and macro line etc

Cheapest way would be to buy a direct mount dumpy around $30.00, a second hand 3000 psi preset air system about $300.00, fittings and hoses $30 - $40.

if you can afford to get a karney or a A4 then get it. You wont be dissapointed.

ah you would be with an a4, they blow chunks:lol: i dont like cockers but thats the best gun you listed there. If your on a budget then the Ion, id take an Ion over an a4 personally.

Got an ION and it rips straight from the box, and very easy to customize if that's your thing

Had an A4 and my ION doesn't blend paint unlike what my A4 did

Just my opinion seeing how I've owned both of these markers...

you can get new Macdev Legionair for $300
and if an A4 is a blender then it is not set up right

all this talk of setting up an air system brings up another question...

where do you get those small screws with the hex end - the ones that go between the airsystem and the markers rail/drop forward ?

they kinda look like an adjusting screw - but they hold the airsystem to the rail..

are they all a standard size ? I wouldnt mind getting a few spares..

Good choice, and for the airsystem get a $450 brand new 68/4500 psi airsystem from Action, they are hot.

Which ones are you talking about, the screws that go into the grip frame? If so they are "guage 10 x 32 un" or simple 3/16 unf is close enough, though some places won't have 3/16 unf. The guage 10 bit is that in very small sizes imperial sizes revert back to standard wire guage sizes. These bolts can be sourced in WA from decent bolt shops like Conventrys fasteners (formally universal fasteners).

nah gav, the other ones..

if you have a DF on your toy, it's the securing screws that go through it ( or the rail that stays on your gun.. ) and holds the ASA on - or the airsystem to the actual rail..

I've taken the rail and screw around to a few places.. come up with blank looks so far..
