Heya all :D

Is there a major difference between thermal goggles and goggles with fans in them?? (apart from the obvious!!)
Im looking to buy my first mask and dont mind spending the money, but id like to make a semi educated choice first time around!!

I want to get into paintball but have no mates that do it, so any info would help :D

Im currently looking at the "PROTO switch thermal" mask.
Thanks for your help :D

Just buy thermas dude and you will not have a problem. Fans are okay, but are primarily to help people who wear glasses when they play.

Hey Sprocket
Go the proto , its a bloody great mask to wear and never fogs
I put a fan in mine as well but you never need it anyway

True ... I switched to contact lenses and never looked back though ... Also, I found the fan to be a little noisy, making it harder to heard what your team mate is yelling at ya ;)

I now have the Vforce Profilers. They are single layer with anti fog coating and I have had not problem with fogging at all. They are also very easy to clean as you dont have to worry about water between the lens layers. Lens also remove for quick change in like 30 secs.
