Hi, just a quick one today,
Does anyone know of a possible reason why I am unable to adjust the output pressure on my 03 max-flo?
Can't raise it more than 600. Its been running smoothly for a couple years now and I maintain it reasonably well. I normally run it at around 900 (got the hp spring in it) for my mags but recently I cant get above the damn 600 mark.
This is off a fresh fill normally around 3-3500psi.
Any help greatly appreciated

How long since you pulled it to bits & maintained it?? I would start there new seals etc. It all else fails I can sell you one with a free xmag attached

Springs are like people. If you keep winding them up and backing them off they are going to get tired. The only reason i can think of if you maintain it well is that the main spring has got tired and just doesn't have the tension it once did. It may just need a new spring.
ask us when you see me next and we'll have a look at it.

Yeah the thing is though it only cropped up at that last training B.B...Other than that she has always kept up at 900 odd without any "fiddling" by me
I think I will just gut it for fresh internals oh and knackers stop taunting me with that X-mag, you know my weakness
Cheers for the help fellas

you might have a LP spring.
Put a parts kit through it........that should make it go like new again. Replaces the spring and all your seals.....

Haha nah its a HP spring, trust me :D
Dont have a new spring with my parts kit but its no drama now as I've put the reg on my Ion so the lesser pressure works a treat (albeit a ghetto fix).
